We offer Face to Face and Telehealth appointments.

15 MINUTE FREE CHAT

I like to have a 15-minute Telehealth chat with you prior to booking your first appointment.  I feel it’s in your best interest to ensure you feel comfortable talking to me, understand my counselling approach and consider how I can help you, before you make an appointment for a session.  If you or I don’t feel that I am the right fit for your needs, with your consent, I can arrange a referral to someone else.

FACE TO FACE COUNSELLING

  • At the Largs North Wellness Room, or at Holistic Health Central - 15 Brock Street, Port Adelaide.

  • Walk and Talk Therapy (locally between Semaphore and North Haven) weather permitting.

  • At an agreed location.

TELEHEALTH

Let’s face it, we all have weeks where we are time poor and that’s where Telehealth can be super handy.  No lost time commuting, and the convenience of receiving support in the comfort and privacy of your own home. 

 I offer after 5pm appointments – to accommodate individuals who would prefer to chat after work.

 WHAT TO EXPECT AT COUNSELLING

  • I ask you to complete an intake form, confidentiality agreement and consent form.

  • I listen with the intent to understand, not to reply and tell you what I think.

  • You are in charge of the topic of discussion.

  • What you tell me will only go as deep as what you wish to disclose.

  • These sessions are for your personal growth, learning about yourself and figuring out ways to improve, by this we:

o   explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in depth,

o   explore your values, your why, and what’s important to you,

o   explore your network of resources and help,

o   explore what you would like your preferred future to look like,

o   set goals and determine an action plan

  • Sessions are voluntary and you can begin, terminate or reschedule sessions at any point, as long as you give more than 48 hours notice.

  • I will check in with you regularly for feedback, to ensure you are comfortable with how our sessions are progressing.
