YOUTH COUNSELLING

Youth counselling offers vital support, helping young individuals (12-17) navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies for a positive future.

Signs your teen could be struggling:

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Social withdrawal / isolation

  • Change in mood that seems out of the ordinary

  • Loss of motivation

  • Substance use

  • Changes in appetite

It is common for Teenagers to suppress their feelings often thinking they won’t be understood, fear of judgement or that no one cares about their perspective and their feelings.

Cheryl’s approach blends formal counselling qualifications, youth mentor volunteer work and personal life experience helping her develop effective ways to communicate and build trust. This combination enhances Cheryl’s ability to relate to teenagers, address their concerns, and provide meaningful support tailored to their needs.

Cheryl offers support that fosters understanding, increases confidence, reduces anxiety, and improves overall wellbeing.
