EMPLOYEE COUNSELLING
While occasional stress at work is normal, both professional and personal challenges can significantly impact an employee’s ability to perform at their best. When workplace pressures build up alongside personal struggles, it becomes harder to stay focussed, motivated and engaged on the job and can lead to burnout. Managers may not be trained to provide mental health & well-being support, but ensuring employees receive the right care is essential. Prioritising employee wellness fosters a culture of care, where regular check-ins and open conversations are encouraged, helping to identify when someone may be struggling.
Counsellor Cheryl, provides Counselling services for Employees, offering stress recovery strategies, compassionate support, and practical tools to regain energy, focus, and work-life balance.
As a former manager responsible for building relationships and supporting large teams, Cheryl has firsthand experience with workplace challenges. Her deep understanding of team dynamics and organisational well-being enables her to address issues such as stress, trauma, fatigue, brain fog, conflict, and anxiety effectively.
Burnout isn’t something that can be solved by a holiday or simply doing less—it takes time to develop, and recovery takes time too. When you see Cheryl, you can expect a safe, supportive space where you will work together to understand what’s contributing to your burnout or stress and what is most important to you.
Together, we’ll tap into your unique strengths to create a practical action plan that fits your unique journey, aligns with your values and helps you achieve your goals across work, health, fitness, finances, and family life.
Cheryl’s goal is to support you in feeling more in control, confident, and aligned with what truly matters to you.

MY STORY
Burnout just didn’t happen to me overnight. It was a gradual creep up.
My job was very demanding, requiring long hours and regular interstate travel, all while I managed the responsibilities of being a single mother to two young children.
I was saying yes to everything and everyone who needed my time and energy.
I was also navigating intense emotional challenges, including grief, loss, and significant personal upheaval.
This all led me to my own experiences with anxiety, stress and burnout.
I have always been fiercely independent, however I realised that sometimes the stress and anxiety that life deals us from time to time, is much bigger than what we can handle on our own.
I raised my hand for help and I’m glad I did. I felt relieved and much lighter talking to someone. Seeking professional support and making positive changes in my life was pivotal to my recovery.
Understanding the health complexities associated with a demanding career and excess stress, I pursued further education in counselling. I’m now dedicated to helping others overcome the burnout, stress and anxiety I faced.
“I understand how much courage it takes to ask for help. Sometimes the stress and anxiety that life deals us from time to time, is much bigger than what we can handle on our own. I invite you to reach out for support – you are not alone!“
